Odds & Ends

Photography captures life's subtle beauty, nature's surprises, and the mysteries of the universe. Throughout my life, the details of nature have never ceased to amaze me. At first look, the awesome beauty of the landscape takes ones breath away, but on closer examination nature's tiniest aspects lead one into a state of meditation, and details reveal more detail.

Life is a matter of perspective. It's the philosophy by which I live my life. I attempt to express it in all my images. I began showing and selling photography in 2004. Since that time, I have shown in galleries and at outdoor shows in Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, California, Michigan and Kansas. Two of my pieces (Transcendence and Red Cana) were juried into a show sponsored by the National Museum for Women in the Arts at the Carter Art Center Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri.

Workshops and instruction in abstract and impressionist photography as seen in Monet's Garden Gallery available. Contact Karen for details.
